Katherine
Bianca is Katherine's younger, more desirable sister. While she is better liked by most characters than Katherine, she has a slightly smaller role in the play. When she does speak, she shows herself to be clever, as when she flirts and trades witticisms with Lucentio while he is "teaching" her. At the end of the play, she refuses to come when called by Lucentio, showing by contrast how obedient Katherine has become.
