Fabrizzio Character Analysis in The Godfather

Michael’s bodyguard (along with Calo) in Sicily. He is a former sailor in the Italian Navy and has a distinctive tattoo of a husband stabbing his wife and her lover. Fabrizzio betrays Michael to the Corleone Family’s enemies, which leads to Apollonia’s death in a car bomb explosion intended for Michael.
