Dr. Alexander Biberstein is the official doctor of the Judenrat and the brother of Judenrat president Marek Biberstein. He helps Poldek Pfefferberg get out of the OD by diagnosing him with a bad back and showing him how to fake the injury. Despite some interference with Oskar Schindler’s list from Marcel Goldberg, Biberstein is ultimately one of those rescued by Schindler. He helps Schindler prevent a typhus outbreak at Brinnlitz, and after the World War II, he attests to how Oskar and Emilie Schindler helped save many lives.
