Richard Maddicko / The Tarzan Murderer Character Analysis

Maddicko becomes known as the Tarzan Murderer due to his practice of acrobatically swinging into upper-story apartments through windows, stealing whatever he can (usually, not much; his targets tend to be low-income individuals and families) and killing anyone in the apartment, whether or not they resist or fight back. Sonia finds him especially disturbing because he exhibits no hint of remorse during the trial. His is one of the final high-profile cases that Sonia prosecutes in her final months at the New York DA’s office.
