Pavel Ferapontovich Antipov Character Analysis

Pavel Ferapontovich Antipov is a railroad worker, labor activist, and Bolshevik revolutionary, and the father of Pasha Antipov. Antipov is arrested for his participation in the 1905 Moscow uprising but reappears in Siberia during the civil war. Alongside his longtime comrade Tiverzin, Antipov oversees the retaliatory red terror in Yuriatin after the city is taken back from the White Army.
