Eulalia Bon Character Analysis

Eulalia Bon is the first wife of Thomas Sutpen. Sutpen rejects her and their child, Charles Bon, after discovering that she has Black ancestry, though he provides for them financially. In Quentin and Shreve’s imagining of events, Eulalia is an embittered, vengeful woman who concocts a scheme to use Bon to exact revenge on Sutpen for abandoning her.
